Seeing how our peers operate is a rare opportunity. While we all face similar cybersecurity challenges, we handle them in a variety of ways. Partnering with the Big Ten Academic Alliance for this year’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month offers one of those opportunities in a virtual setting.
The Big Ten has assembled a panel of Chief Information Security Officers to discuss their approach to our common cybersecurity challenges. The panelists will cover topics related to risk within our organizations, how to build and deliver a strong security awareness program and culture, and how they see the security space evolving to enhance knowledge and promote security in the higher education space.
Panelists include:
- Guy Albertini, Rutgers University
- José Domínguez, University of Oregon
- Asmat Noori, University of Michigan
- Andrew Weisskopf, Michigan State University
The event is on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, from 2-3 p.m.
